Man of Ebony

Contributed by ineedanap on Sunday, 7th August 2005 @ 01:46:41 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

My blade is my security
The devil of which deteriates me
That leaves a brand upon my flesh
I am his and there is nothing left

My heart is only a whole
As dark and black as the coal
That ignites the flame beneath my skin
A process of which i did not agree to begin

My silent screams of crimson red
Cease as my soul is wed
To the man of deep ebony
And to the flame that will forever consume me

Sadly I got it right away. I wish I hadn't. I do not understand this self-infliction of pain, but I do hope you can find some way to stop it. I can't understand how hurting yourself because you hurt inside helps anything at all. Sending peace and strength.
