Friends Again?

Topic: FriendshipPoetry

We're friends now,
And I was so glad,
But then you said something,
That made me really mad.

I felt like I wanted to kill you,
But I never told anyone,
Then I decided to do it,
So I got my gun.

I headed over to your place,
And I knocked on the door,
You opened it and asked me,
What was the gun for.

I said nothing,
But made my way on in,
You stared at me,
As I held the gun up next to your ear.

After I pulled the trigger,
I watched you fall to the floor,
I walked to the balcony,
And opened up the door.

A smile came to my face,
As I stood on the edge,
Now I have no regrets,
And I can die happy again.

Wow, pretty dark for a first poem. Much better than any of my first poems. The wording was a bit elementary but i understand, it takes awhile to get into your own style and vocab on ur first try. Congratulations

Brooke
