Caught up in the moment

Contributed by James_McMorn on Monday, 13th January 2003 @ 12:40:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Twilight turns to darkness, the shadows awake,
Lost and lonely you venture through a world unknown.
Thoughts uncover paths which lead the way to an unknown future,
yet, relentless, you journey through one loves soul.

Caught up in the moment, you stand speechless, stranded,
you feel the wrath of anothers heart, do not toy with it.
Treasure another like it was your only unborn,
for never will you find love amidst a cool breeze of a summer atlantis.

Spasms rage through a bleeding heart, as though an arrow has been shot point blank,
You stumble, then cry, and lay defeated.
Deceit emerges victorious, and scars all hope,
But your caught in the moment, you think you stand invincible.

A new born horizon enters your room, and the fresh smell vibrates vigorously through one mans body,
Mind blowing, dramatic, like an active volcano awaiting eruption.
Life is a time bomb, you start the clock,
But this seems to be forgotten, costly mistake.

You can see the hatred in any mans eyes, the midnight black is vibrant,
enough to scare any man or beast thats lived, or ever will live.
I ask the question what is love?,
but your reply is "im caught in the moment".

The last wave goodbye, a tear drop descends,
the line followed has ended abrruptly.
Torn, crushed, demolished as a dominoe chain falls proud,
but why waste my time? your just caught in the moment.
