Little lady, tiny wings
Magic words to us she brings
From inside the wishing well
Fairy named Miss Tinkerbell
Listen, closely, can you hear?
Tiny voices, soft and clear
From the well so dark and deep
Bright and tiny firelights leap
Have you got a wish to spare?
For someone whose waiting there
Praying, dreaming, hoping soon
Wishing on the Lady Moon
Cast your wish into the well
Watch the fairy's weave their spell
See the wonder, joy and awe
You have granted to that boy
See his smile so wide, so bright
As you grant his wish tonight

I really like this. (you read my poetry over at Allpoetry as well, so I thought I'd drop in)
The only flaw I can see is:
See the wonder, joy and awe
You have granted to that boy
Those lines don't rhyme. Other than that, this is very good... keep it up!! |

This is really lovely. I will put my hand on heart and say that I don't usually go a bundle on what might be termed make believe writing, but since I've found this forum, I am beginning to warm to such work.
After all, it reflects the real mental efforts of the given writer to think of the subject, order the work, write it, edit it, etc... all of which I was overlooking too. Ho hum !
I really thought this was magical
