This sudden accolade
Overnight whispers giving
A false sense of pride
Bought cheap at the sale
A pain to call my own
Shared amongst loved ones
Rumored between friends
What is the worth
Of all my sleepless nights?
A simple exchange
For a few selfless words
A chance to buy
My Hopes and Dreams
Still warm from the war
Hardly ever used

Glad to see you are still writing apple, I fear my brain has subsided somewhat due to recent events, still, excuses excuses...
A crystalised write, much there for deliberation...and other fancy words, but seriously understood.
A dime a dozen indeed, a penny for them anyday :)
