See nights without a star, Hear winds plead, Feel shadows from afar, Smell scents that whispers feed, Follow steps of long ago, Speak legends of your heart, Touch fire of angels glow, Taste nectar the soul imparts, Need compassion for the past, Allow time to grow and heal, Trust inward shadows you cast, Know secrets your mind conceals, Admit weakness fathered when born, Deny words of guilt invoked by fear, Never dread the cord that must be torn, Silence inner cries as you become aware, Begin the path to empowerment, Trace lines of pain within your mind, Study truths that in sleep are sent, Accept facts your search shall find.

When I see poetry like this.. I usually don't finish it .. if it's separated into stanza's .. then it's easier for me .. and it makes the poem itself more powerful. something to think about.

The poem itself is brilliant. Your imagery is great. Rhyme scheme wonderful. No structure whatsoever. It makes it too hard to read and boring for most. Break it into poetic stanzas and try again. Bet you get more reads.
Smiles.
