Providence, in a curious break
From façade maintenance duties
Has seen fit to intervene
Evidently, she does not believe in fate
In brief interlude, oozing unrivalled genius
She has seen fit to force gently upon me
Temperance
Or is it apathy?
I think that immersion in the
Entirety of the worlds’ vice
Could not quench this fire
This hope
And then again
Perhaps
Not
