Love's Exotica

Contributed by XxNights_ChildxX on Friday, 5th August 2005 @ 12:40:07 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

It was a night unlike any other,
and it all just happened so fast-
she was looking at me with those eyes,
But I knew it wouldn’t last,

As I slowly approached her,
her aura seemed to burn,
pure sexual temptation-she was,
an enticement I’d soon learn,

And when I stood before her,
she leaned over and whispered in my ear-
“Love’s Exotica” like a caress,
that’s when everything became unclear,

(Chorus)
And now Im burning in her embrace,
As I share the same desire,
with this woman of “Love’s Exotica”
we made the flames raise higher

A tango just for two,
But never meant to survive past the night,
It all ended just as quickly as it began,
As the darkness crept into the light,

And now Im burning in her embrace,
As I share the same desire,
with this woman of “Love’s Exotica”
we made the flames raise higher

She told me endless lies,
of what this love would create,
And I believed every word she spoke,
as the time was getting late,

But when I woke up later,
I found myself alone,
Starring at my ceiling,
Thinking of what had gone wrong,

And now Im burning in her embrace,
As I share the same desire,
with this woman of “Love’s Exotica”
we made the flames raise higher

“Love’s Exotica” was quite a change,
yeah she took me for a ride,
but the flames couldn’t last forever,
They burned low then finaly died...
