Bleeding hearts starved from love and care,
Accursed hands stained with acts of treason.
High upon a hill lays the coveted truth,
Buried underneath a mountain of bones.
To find the meaning, first comes the end,
True satisfaction is wrought with guilt.
Albeit the rising tides have caused your death,
Endlessly falling, surrounded by a sea of boundless sorrow.
The future is so unclear, so many "what if's",
But it never mattered when I was yours.
You would always reassure me of a new beginning,
Betrothed to a higher calling.
