its staring at me
tears begin to fall
its watching my every move
it sees me through the walls
following me with its eyes
serpentlike crawling
matching my every footstep
mimicking the calling
licking its lips
dinner, me, a feast
stalking me like i was prey
vile putrid beast
grabbing me from behind
whispers in my ear
so silently seductive
but none could ever hear
so creepily amusing
a smile but a cry
then leaves me all alone
saving me the lie
