Who are we
To disguise who we are?
To uphold secrets
To give into the art

Our bodies are temples
Treat them as you wish

A blank canvas soon turns
Blue to Black
Black to Red
The vicious cycle of human art
When will it end?

It may not be your best, but it is certainly not bad, by any means. I too think we just need to be who we are and quit trying to fool everyone, including ourselves. I feel if you embellished on it a bit more you would be much happier with it. It could truly be a lovely poem.
