What is the difference?
They are all the same
A front
A disguise
Who would have ever known?
They only exist to hide the pain
The facade
The beauty
But alas
None of it is reality

The painting might be just a beautiful face on a flat canvas. There are people who live behind a false face or a facade as you suggest. I must say to you though, some of us are real, through and through. Your poem is very nice, but places humanity into one big lump of false faces, which is not true for all.
