Topic: goodbyepoetry

In my room,
On top a shelf,
Sits a picture frame,
All by itslef,

It's covered in dust,
And it's starting to fade,
The frame is broken,
Like a cracked window pane,

Inside the glass,
Looks you and me,
We look like soulmates,
As far as anyone can see,

Your arm is around me,
Mine around your waist,
We looked so happy,
In our own little place,

Though pictures fade,
Memories last,
I'll never forget you,
In our blessed past.

Beautiful sentiments.....it truly is wonderful the way one picture such hold so many memories and emotions.

I liked this piece, simple but moving and real.

Lovely.

i'd like to say the same thing as the above . i liked it. simple yet very in depth. its amazing how one picture can capture just one moment, but can hold memories of a lifetime.

You kept the reader right there in that frame. The visual is splendid.

Very emotional and inspiring write.

I love the simplicity of this write. It is genuine. I saw the shelf, I saw the picture with dust on it.. I saw the couple.

Yes, very brilliant write indeed.
