So... My Feelings Are Boring...

Contributed by Serendippitty on Monday, 1st August 2005 @ 06:45:35 PM in AEST
Topic: poets

So my hearbreak is just like another heartbreak
Typical is the life that I lead
My thoughts and feelings lack expression
Well allow me to proceed

The matter of it is
My heart is still broken
That is whats important
And my feelings were spoken

The fact that you had to say anything at all
shows me the qualities of you
How you are cold, unsympathetic and rude
Your good qualities must be so few

Its not that I care
since your insult was pitiful
Its just that I wonder
how you could be so critical

How you could put a label upon the words
that came from my soul
How you can say that anything poetic is boring
you come out looking like a real hole

So there you have it
you bitter, unemotional witch
Its on now
you stupid witch
