|
For walking down the street, standing next to me.
For listening to what I say, even when we don’t agree.
For giving me that hug, that you just know I need.
For handing me strength, ‘specially when I don’t succeed.
For seeing me for who I am, not who I pretend to be,
For telling me the truth, even if I disagree.
For always being there, even when I scream.
For knowing who I am, better then I could dream.
For all the comforting words needed to mend
For all these things I thank you, my Friend.

Nice poem. i can only guess that you're not married as all such qualities are quickly snuffed out by the female sex. Take my word for it. If they can close off an avenue of pleasure, they'll do it. lol
