Reason Against Repetition

Lifepoems

For every action we take
Is by no means
Human error
Or even an honest mistake
But a predestined path
Beatin down
By deeds done so vile
Or even profound
We live, we never learn
Our backs against the past
We leave no promise
To a society so imperfect
Our history is written
And by the masses never read
It lies sound asleep
Only in the dust history collects

A country without a memory is a country of madmen. Good write, I too am afraid of where our progressive, dismissive society is heading. |
