Not Meant To Be

As to expedite the learning process
One chooses a fist to his face as a life lesson
A trickling sensation
That drips doubt out of pure friction
The unanimous hypothesis
An agreed upon variable
Is sun to a flower, as photosynthesis
Is the degree of symmetry
In to something so unsymmetrical
Fish that bite
On a string hooked
Attached to the rope that winds
As the tugging line
Is reversed
And inexplicably
The wheel is spun
Where the broken arrow lands
The victim does his dance
And the deed is done
Narcotic trafficers
Meter maids
Impersonating police officers
Sirens blasting
On a car chase through the suburbs
Children chasing
A ball that rolled from the yard
Across the street to the neighbors
Hemoglobin
To ensure the redness
Clear eyes exposed to asbestos
Insolent and audacious
Who presupposes and determines
The root strength before the tree is planted
A gardener of truth
Fertilizing what was once cemented

I like this piece...great flow of emotion and thoughts going on. The way you interconnected all these ideas lead to some good imagery...You had a strong beginning and end, and I love those last two lines.
