When I cry

Contributed by Dark_Angel_BabAy on Sunday, 12th January 2003 @ 10:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

It will be long before I cry,
Or at least that is what I tell myself,
I won't cry again,
Crying is a sign of weakness,
I won't let myself be hurt again,
Then I won't have to cry,
I can't let my heart be opened,
I can't let the pain show,
Someday I will let my inhibitions go,
But not today, not today,
All I need to do today,
Is help me think of another reason,
I can't cry.

Wow, this was so short and beautiful. I used to not cry because it was 'unmanly' or w/e. Crying is a great way of letting everything go. I know how hard it can be however. How you let everything out (or seem to) in just a few lines is amazing. Keep yer chin up.

Wishing you love...
