SWEET DREAMS

Contributed by sweetoccasion29 on Sunday, 31st July 2005 @ 01:09:12 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Matter of fact, this is no dream
reality laced with poison,
struggling to remain, taking
each day as it enters, gasping
for air dying to breathe

My moment of weakness, now
hours in the midst, bracing for your
touch, my dying wish, your closed fist

My reality I pray to descend,
to dream peaceful to no end
remains of your pleasure, torture
at its best, now to rest, my sweet
sleep, unlimited dreams begin

i can relate to the great escape found in dreams. The one we can't love while awake... we can in our dreams, and he always loves us back, until we awake.
