As the world turns,
We rape,
Pillage,
And plunder,
The materials,
That make up this,
Planet.
In the big cities,
We care not,
About our future.
What is the future,
Of the stock markets,
And the society,
That creates a,
Lust for money?
The lust,
That is shared,
Between governments,
And big business,
Is defication.
For those of us,
That need to know,
That in our hearts,
A child's dream,
Will grow.
The planet that we have,
Is fragile,
At it's best.
If we look,
After the poor,
Our hearts,
Will be able to rest.

Oh, Cythia, how you have grasped the many things a child goes through, I know the true meaning of hunger, coming from a family of fifteen |
