as we slip into the bleak
neveragains of tomorrow
let us not lose sight of the minutes ahead before
we succumb to blankness
may we remain esoteric for each other if only for the rest of the week
let us
speak, nervousness given to passion and passion to a
new dawn in which there is no sun,
but rather a renewing of the mind so that the dawn is
not necessarily tomorrow
if only the real one's undone.
are we not those who keep the system from going under
-for what is a system without opposition?
-what is lightning without thunder?
we're the basis upon which foundations come -
dirt, and so we are asked
"aren't you dead yet?
aren't you..." and we can
to say quietly "you
already are, for nature is alive and you're manmade,
built to fall,"
but it's the only time they'll hear our song as a quiet hum.
we'll not be dulled, we'll be the
landslide into the neveragain
that never was
and people will finally say
"perhaps we're mortal after all."

It is definitely edgy. Like you don't know whether to take a step or not. Afraid to go forward. It is unique, to say the least, but I am not really sure that I like it. There is just something about it that bothers me and I can't lay my finger on it. It will come to me as I reread it over a few times. As long as Neptune likes it, it doesn't matter anyway.
Peace,

Well now! That was a truly excellent read, full of tension and emotion, written with such eloquence and force, and such intelligence. Worthy of print, surely. Bravo!
