Way Too Real

Contributed by dusty on Saturday, 30th July 2005 @ 04:33:34 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I sat there contently watching him as the sun rose over the city,
Unable to tear my gaze away from his face, Listening closely to his voice,
Comitting every ounce of him to my memory forever,
Each gesture and smile mine only, if just for a moment,
Three words trying to escape thoughts but I remained silent, learning,
Way...too...real,
The warmth of his body beside me, I ached to reach for him,
To run my fingers through his hair, Brush my lips against his cheek,
Just to feel and feel,
This is just...
Way...Too...Real.

Very nice Dusty, in a world filled with people that no longer can feel, it's nice to hear of one that can, and then write it down for all to see.
It's also nice to know Dusty that you are real! So many hypocrites out there, all wearing masks, even a smile nowadays can't be believed!
I'm glad you found this write in your PC. It was worth retreiving! I enjoyed it.
Warm love
consue
