Memory of Jackson

Contributed by Writting_Fever on Friday, 29th July 2005 @ 10:53:40 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

My little boy,
Was just barely born,
When I learned of his problem,
Now his life has become torn,

He couldn't pay attention,
And had a constant drool,
He had to learn a special way,
In a special school,

Whenever he got down,
Whenever he felt sad,
He'd always come to me,
Until he wasn't sad,

I never told him no,
And I never yelled too strong,
He wouldn't understand,
He will never, for so long,

His sickness was too much,
It caught up to him one day,
But that day came too fast,
Becuase my boy then went away,

I sit down by his grave stone,
Just wishing for a hug,
But I know now the true meaning,
Of a son and mother's love.

Wow! The structure of this poem is good but that it says is even stonger. This had to be so hard for you and I'm terribly sorry for your loss. But at least you can write and get your feelings out. A very good and emotional write! Bravo!
