A Plea, A Wish, A Dream

Contributed by Erualaitalmarea on Friday, 29th July 2005 @ 11:48:16 AM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

We are two birds of a feather,
Scarcely ever having a love to call our own,
And I never
Thought I would find someone who understands the loneliness that I have known,
That has daily in my heart been re-inforced and grown,
Maybe this is a start of something, that thing I have been longing for,
But who can tell what is in store?
You may be like all the rest,
And just feign interest,
Or find me unsuitable and never speak to me again,
I have enough pain
From the male species,
So please
Be different, be you,
Be kind, be true,
And maybe I'll love you,
Don't let these dreams die,
For I have been caged for too long,
And I desire to spread my wings and not only to fly,
But to soar in the most glorious sky,
And to touch the sun with my heart's song,
I have loved before,
But this time,
I want a love that is so much more,
One I can really call mine,
Are you him? Have you finally come?
Or have I just begun
To fool myself all over again? I know only time shall tell of my fate,
I just hope I realize it before it's too late,
I'll let go, I'll trust you with all that is in me,
I'll set my worries free,
Just please be careful and don't lead me on,
Don't break my heart, but if you do don't let the pain last long.

Wow a most astonishing beautifull write, love can be like that sometimes, people never know about love, people think they have found love, but they know nothing about it, that is mostly the human way, sometimes people do not look for love though, sometimes they just look for someone to know that they are there, for someone to know that they exist, they usually just want the extra attention. SLipSiX. A most wonderfully beautifull write.

Amarvelous plea or prayer for love to be true!!!
A dream that will not fail, as they usually do!
I loved reading this E because it seldom comes true that you find someone for whom you can trust, so be very careful with your heart, until you know for sure!
Lovely, loving, prayer or plea.
Warm love
and thanking you for your nice comment
on my poem also

This is very honest and emotional, yet the wording is very eloquent and well thought out. In all this is a poem worthy of deep respect, and that is what I hope you will be shown. Blessings.

Andrew
