Not Happy

Contributed by Lori on Thursday, 28th July 2005 @ 09:34:53 PM in AEST
Topic: hbadday

Today I stop pretending, that i'm happy inside.
There is to much going right now, that has me hurting deep inside.
I'm tired of smiling just to let you think, everything is fine
and laughing at what you might find funny, when i really feel like crying.
No, it's my turn to say something, I keep my pain locked up inside,
I would hint around that i needed your help. but you never looked in my eyes.
I have'nt been honest with you. I told you i have things together.
Simply because you make things clear that you won't help anyone ever.
I'm not your topic for the day, so please don't use this against me.
Remember, I'm your sister and i never left you empty.
If i did, please tell me, cause i really don't understand.
Why this family is falling apart like it is.
We are all we have
I'm sorry i don't have riches, or the knowlege to know everything
or the strength you need to protect you, from the pain life sometimes brings.
I'm sorry.

I have a philosophy that family should be a shelter for each other and if they don't know how you feel .. how can they be that? Why don't you share your feelings .. there must be a reason .. if not all at once .. maybe little by little .. but don't keep it locked inside .. if you do it turns into depresion .. take it from me ...

I agree it is good if they know how you feel. But whether you express these feelings or not really depends on you more then on them. You can't be sure how they will react, so you need to be prepared emotionally for what ever the reaction might be. It's not so much whether you share your feelings, which is your desire, but when. I would consider a face to face, if you can manage it ok.

Something to pray about

Will

I know exactly how you feel, I have felt like that towards certain people, sometimes the things people say that they think are funny, can actually make people sick, such as me, familys do tend to fall apart sometime but in the end, it will sort itself out and they will be together again. Very often families do not realise the pain they are causing. In there way they are just making light of things.Tell them how you feel, in a light hearted way if you can.Don't make it too heavy and they are more likely to listen and not take offence.I'm sure once they realise they are hurting you, they will stop, good luck, Ros
