Life

Traveling a long life's highway
you run into, many unusual things
From the day that you are born
you never know, what the next day brings

Having exited your mothers womb
and now breathing on your own
You try desperately to absurb
all the things that you are shown

You hear many different voices
talking to you each day
Each one trying to teach you
in their own special way

You grasp what you can
at this tender age
The learning process will get better
as you pass from stage to stage

Your early years pass by
and now you enter school
Learning something new
using your brand new tool

The years now move faster
and you are learning what Life's about
You will have good days and some bad
of this there is no doubt

Romance is coming too
your first love will be there
Feelings you never had before
and that you were totally unaware

Your school days pass by quickly
your Life is moving on
Your teenage years almost over
as you enter, a new dawn

What will you do next
is college in the air
Have you thought about your future
and how you will prepare

Do you want to be a doctor, or a lawyer
or are other things on your mind
You must choose very carefully
the right choice you must find

The years that lie ahead
your future is at stake
What you do with your Life
is a decision you must make

THink about, if and when you marry
and the children that might arrive
All the possibilities that are out there
and what is needed to survive

You just never know
when your Life might be over
And you find yourself burried
deeply in the clover

Hopefully you made the right choices
and your Life was all you desired
You had a very happy Life
and by all you were admired

This was 80 years wrapped up in the 15 seconds it took me to read it..very glorifying, were all the verses..
I had a moment's thought at each..
bittersweet in the end that this proverbial life
had to end at all..

I enjoyed this very much Bruce-
