A bomb goes off in London
A missile hits baghdad,
These things are unconnected,
Has Tony Blair gone mad,
There's a ying and yang to things like this,
A simple ebb and flow
Some people reap the ***** storm,
That other people blow.
There is no war in Iraq,
It's a buisness strategy,
Hitler called it Lebensraum,
He had more hoinesty,
The Patriot act and the Reichstag fire,
Auscwitz and Gitmo jail,
We've seen this stuff before my friends,
And we've seen it fail.
We can't sit here in Ireland,
In smug neutrallity,
Cause Shannon airport's the last stop before,
Occupied teritory,
But this poem I"m afraid is futile,
Cause it's being paid for with Iraqi blood,
And with their black gold.
911, Madrid and London, this terror on tv,
But if arabs have to get used to being bombed then maybe so should we.

Very interesting poem, consequences are never taken into account when unleashing war,but as you very eloquently point out there will be consequences and it won't be those who made the decisions who will suffer well written |
