I've seen it rain
Don't know when
When it began
Two or three
I don't remember
Four and five
I probbaly tremmered
Six and seven I began to grow
To understand To begin to know
How old When appeared a first rainbow
A light sprinckle
A lightning strike
Silver streaks a fine dribble
The fear of wind each tree shaken
The earth so blacken
Prayer upon lips a faith a lackin
An earth turned evergreen
A rainbow His promise kept
A clear blue sky forever seen
No need for prayer all is well
A darken sky and prayer is keen
This I know for I've seen rain
