I guess you didn't listen
Now you are swimming
like a fish is
In a pond of watered-down
wishes.
But they say that
"Hope springs eternal",
Every day a chance
for renewal
from imagination's fountain
fresh water in a pool

Usually, I don't like short poems, because I don't think that they are powerful enough to share and spread a message.. But, this one clearly is very powerful and the words speak for themseleves. |

Another great poem, I'm not minding their lack of length so much now, they seem able to stand on their own (very small lol) feet even with such brevity. I'll have to read more when I get back from class. |
