Love is the greatest gift,
When it comes grab it tight.
Love will always be eternal,
So true and so right.
Allow your heart to open,
And allow you love to flow.
It will take you to new heights,
And over the rainbow.
Love knows no bounds,
It is endless as the sky.
Your life will be fulfilled,
If you heart will only try.
Love flows like a river,
That will never run dry.
No matter how much you give,
You have an endless supply.
For love is the greatest gift,
One that keeps on giving.
Your heart is always full of love,
The amount is never ending.
You have room within your heart,
For more than one love I say.
So open wide your heart,
And see love by you each day.
True love shines within you,
Like the stars up in the sky.
Love is eternal when true,
So never allow it to fade or die.
I know you have a lot of love,
It’s flowing out of you.
So put your trust in me,
And I’ll prove my love it true.
Know that I will always love you,
No matter what will come.
If you open up your heart,
You’ll love what we can become.
So take these words to heart,
I hope they make you think.
Our hearts joined as one,
Will forge the perfect link.

Seems like it takes something bad to create such beautiful poetry sometimes...sorry to hear about your wife...thanks for sharing I hope writing poems like this helps...
