Night

Contributed by bob18dylan on Monday, 25th July 2005 @ 11:35:55 PM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

In colors of black, stars wander about
trying to find the moon
The place to rest their spirit
in this black lagoon

But with no moon in sight
they decide to light
right where they stand
and sleep away this black night
To continue later this journey on hand

Ah, the celestial stars. Many nights of my life have been spent looking upwards at them. I believe for every star there is a spirit looking down. The falling stars are spirits coming back to earth to live another lifetime. This is a beautiful write.

I used to look at the stars all the time.. I remember being in love with them.. they were just so beautiful.. But, I got older and hardly ever looked at them anymore... Now, you have reminded me about this beauty.. So, you can count that I would be tonight.
