Roy G. Biv

Contributed by lanCASTER on Monday, 25th July 2005 @ 11:09:21 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

The Diaspora
Spreading of the people
Moving in all direction
From the middle to the extremes

Back to earth
The lunar satellite has fallen
With the splash that produced a wave
From an ocean that made many sailors a grave
The terrestrial robot just couldn’t stay

Religion rotates
Around a sphere of confidence in belief
In a menaing of self control and divine release
Combust to a ball of dirt rolling down the street
The childhood you lost now begs you to reconsider this deed

Roy says
A melon is as good as your head
In all seriousness why did you paint your face blue and red
Are you white
Does your hair twist into such a horrible thread
While the ragged clothing that drapes off your UNDERSIZED frame
Hangs like its used, left for dead

LOL Roy G. Biv....I didn't remember that at all until I looked it up...(Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet...) The colours in the order they appear in a prism: )
Wow this write reminds me of one you'd create in one of those creative poetic frenzies that we all love! So much going on...Four seemingly random thoughts, yet somehow all interconnected...I like how each stanza begs the reader to reflect on the words they just read, and the visuals each 'story' gives. This is a very clever write; keep 'em coming!!

Scorp.

lanCASTER, as in PA or England?

Also this does remind me a bit of what I'd call a "brain dump", just a way to get some stuff into the open.

May want to try a few of these once I get a notebook.
