Our love is magical
we could create a playground of the night sky
play hopscotch on the stars
and swing from the moon
turn the desert to an ocean of crystal blue
swim with the great whites,
as we gently kiss their nose
I've often heard, things change
this fear consumes my soul,
feverishly wanting the feelings to remain
praying time stands still,
never wanting to conceive,
the stars turning to glass,
breaking beneath our feet
sharks, once gentle, tearing away our passion
the desert, showing its true being,
nothing more than golden sand,
leaving my heart alone and burning,
with a mirage of what used to be

This is a very nice poem indeed capturing the almost inevitible change of moods etc on the journey that is love. Oh yes, and I did marry a beautiful dolphin nineteen years ago, but boy did she transform into a Great White. And how !
