Forget my past you told me
right from the beggining.
You told me you could help me
saying it would be the end.
Everytime I use you to let the pain seep out,
it only makes me yearn for you yet another time.
I've tried to stop so many times,
though I've yet to succeed.
Every time I put you down
The pain fills me like a demon's seed.
People tell me that I shouldn't
They say it's unhealthy, and something must be wrong.
But if I do not use you
Suicidal thoughts will come.

I like how you never go right out and say it, but your poem paints a picture of it clearly. You're obviously struggling with some sort of addiction to try to take away the pain.
"Everytime I use you to let the pain seep out,
it only makes me yearn for you yet another time"
I like that line- it just seems so ironic that in an effort to forget our problems, we can make them so much greater.
You definately get your point across.

I know this. Not perhaps what you are using ... but the thought pattern and hopless helplessness here ... nicely portrayed. Yeah ... I get it.
