Within my heart there is a room
For two it is set aside,
A soldier child in armor bright
His mother by his side.
Many a battle has been fought
And faith has brought them through,
But faith alone is not enough
It was a mothers' love so true.
This golden child so locked within
Autisms' private world,
Runs and plays within my heart
And once more his mom's a girl.
Within this room there is no gold
No fancy clothes or cars,
Within this room within my heart
There are no autistic bars.
This is a room of love and trust
Of peace and harmony,
Where autisms' chains are cast aside
And the golden child runs free.
