Death of Common Sense

Contributed by Elizabeth_Dandy on Sunday, 24th July 2005 @ 10:45:36 AM in AEST
Topic: Event

Political correctness had
The upper hand again - how nice!
In spite of all the many dead,
In spite of shock and sacrifice.

Profiling, - say our fops elect,
Profiling we shall never do,
It is politically incorrect,
Eeeny-meeny-miney-mo!

Profiling is so wrong, and so
We offer shelter to the beast,
Eeny-meeny-miney-mo,.
And to the preaching terrorist.

Profiling does lack due respect,
Lo! the police must not profile,
It is politically incorrect,
But bow to terror thugs and smile

Lo! fops and fools make our laws
Refuse the murderers to eject,
With detonators in their paws,
To be politically correct.

Spread out to them the welcome rug,
And welcome mat and say at least
To every murderous bomber thug
“Welcome dear Mr. terrorist!”

“Keep up your preaching like before,-
For high is your theology,-
Much valued here on our shore,
To preach your hatred, - Sir feel free!.

The death this is of common sense,
Sir Winston Churchill - what dismay!
Steel fops' spines with belligerence,
Much needed in our day!

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself!" Remember that one ED. You are so right. I'm thinking of the poor policeman in UK that made the mistake of shooting the wrong innocent fellow. How tragic, how horrible, but wait aminute. What if he had been a terrorist? What if he had been carrying a bomb to kill and multilate many? Yes, there are going to be many mistakes, but it shows they are atleast trying to solve the problem that has taken place in their country!
You poem enumerates one problem, they need strong leadership, someone that will not back down. It's a terrible shock to any nation when suddenly they are involved in the Terrorists acts. Look at the United States. we are all still recovering. To this day because I wasn't there, I still shake in shock when I see the pictures on TV. Yes, it's time EVERYONE awakened. Every Nation, Every Person, Every Leader..........the Terrorists are Here..........and unfortunately..........to stay!
Wonderful reminder ED........for all of us world wide!
Warm love
consue

Thanks Consue for commenting.

What is happening now is the fruit of mindless and unforgiveable policies.
My heart goes out to the brave Britiswh people, but what a man sows that he reaps.
Long years of permissiveness and appeasement of terror elem ents brought us to this. Both in the UK and the States. The borders are wide open since years, to permit any thung to come in, they are already here.
Nobody takes care of border control.
The liberal and mindless policies of indiscriminately sheltering and welcoming these element bring their due fruit.
Remember Nevill Chamberlein attempting to appease Adolf Hitler. Disgraced his brave nation and brought disaster for Nations and WWII with its horror and devastation. Churchill did not go for it. Had spine.
Man reaps what he saws.
Some even object to getting their backbags checked - political correctness only is on their mind. Wait till they are maimed for life, or not around at all just blown off, if they still object to have their backbags looked into.
They care solely to be re-elected, and the country is overran with the most sinister elements.
Man reaps what he saws- What you saw that you shall reap!
Sorry, I just cannot see these goings on any longer.
Had to post this.
thanks

Elizabeth

Political correctness is exactly why the terrorists reign supreme today. We all quake and quiver in our bones because borders are wide open. Shut them down completely for a while. Let us find the terrorists in each country and dispose of them. If we do not we are headed quickly for WWIII. By the year 2012 there will not be no man walking this earth. Drastic measures call for drastic steps. Do not coddle these criminals, kill them.
