My Love is a deep ocean
My Love for you is as deep as the cracks
that open to the very heart of this old earth.
My Love for you is like no other I have ever shared.
Its an awesome love that shines through
even on cloudy days.
Its fills me with such graditude
It fills me taking my breath away.
I can barely stand with you
I stumble and fall yearning for those arms.
Spinning and and descending deep into a well.
You are all I see around me
Your face on every stranger .
The scent of your after shave
Leaves me running from the room
out of control.
Searching to find you .
Knowing you are there
somewhere.
How can we have done this
When we fought it for so long.
How are we to manage
when we know its still wrong.
How could I make it better,
When you are over there.
Close your eyes and Whisper
and picture in your mind
These arms are wrapped around you
Keeping you from harm.
Our Love is such a curious thing
We never seem to tire
Making more memories to treasure
all along the way.
Hush now
and dream
As we sleep the night away
each in our own way.
I know there will come a day.
When we can shout out
for all to hear.
There will be no other love
like the one you had with me.

I know these feelings so well. For 15 years of my life I loved someone hoping that one day we could shout it to the world. Sadly that day never came. I did find love after that but that one special one is always in my heart and certain things to bring him back to mind. Beautiful thoughts here.

Oh Whisper your write touched my heart. You have to have lost someone dear, someone you want to be near, so that you can empathize the feelings you are experiencing in this poem. The most hopeless feeling in the whole world is to lose and know there is nothing you can do to remedy your plight!
My heart goes out to you in everyway. It's not time that will heal, but love. Love for yourself dear, and knowing that you have experienced something wonderful, that many many others will never know.
