My Time or Melancholy

Contributed by Man_On_High on Friday, 22nd July 2005 @ 10:13:57 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

In my time or melancholy
smothered in the quiet night..
when all I see is moonlight cast
faded pale blue
and we all lie still
in the glory of grief..
I create by the mourning shine.

Not for others and their charm..
but for the price I pay
for all my soul and heart.

In the absence of identity
from this mourning shine I create;
not for the passed who loom,
with memories all our own
but for all who lie still
in the dolor of the story..

created in my time or melancholy.

M.O.H.

And what wonderful masterpieces you do create in the late night....you are splendid!

This one was contained sadness, but the honesty is completely touching and something I can relate to.
