To the final stage
To the sexual inevitable
Let’s make a vow
A toast to the future
To the then and the eventual now
Perpetuates a myth of doubt
Of if tomorrow
Promises change
Let the daylight sink
As the fever dies away
Take my hand
And feel the skin that burns
Pins and needles stabbing
My wrist becomes numb from your caress
From your gaze
From your openness
Interlocked fingers
Hands on my chest
My heart has stopped beating
Love induced cardiac arrest
Conversing with ease
Perspectives indulged
Not only to please
But of genuine interest
In thoughts
In past memories and hurts
Compassion overflows
The attachment grows
And then the kiss
Impossible to resist your lips
The way they bulge
Let’s go back to my place
Where the atmosphere is relaxed
The dim lights hint eroticism
While the music plays softly
As the flame on the candle
Dwindles cautiously
You smile
Straddle me
Tell me you love me
And there is no where else
You would rather be
Strip to the bare essentials
Bring me heaven to this earthly body
Exploding simultaneously
