Hidden Secrets

Contributed by eternal_sorrows on Thursday, 21st July 2005 @ 11:44:14 AM in AEST
Topic: secrets

Searching for life
you came my way
it's been all about you
and still is today.

I'm tired of fighting
and arguing too
I don't understand
why we always do.

Words of anger
fist to flesh
feel the pain
deep in my chest.

I try to fight back
the best I could
yet, lye on the ground
as you expected I would.

A hit and a kick
fall into place
as tears roll down
my swollen face.

Fraustrations released
remorse sets in
you say you're sorry
and won't do it again.

Ice packs on my shoulder
a kiss on the head
you're feeling better
I'm feeling dead.

Morning arises
as nothing went on
just let it go
I was the one wrong.

Bruises are hidden
as friends come by
I can not help it
I still need to cry.

This is heartbreaking , yet written with a flair that I am getting accustomed to from your pen. Again, you are very good.

Well done my friend
Larry

Depressing, but deeply moving and well-written. Well done.
