Oh, tonight in dreams I long to see him,
~*~
Ever yet, to feel his sweet gentle caress,
~*~
Dreaming frost off my windows, frost off my breast..
~*~
Whenever he goes, I shall miss him all with my heart,
~*~
Off to the planets, moons, or towards the stars,
~*~
Ever yet I will always yearn, following him within',
~*~
Where ever yet our dream realms loving heart's begin.
~*~

Absolutely beautiful, Nessa. I love the images and feelings you create here. The depths of your passion are both enchanting and fathomless. I hope he soon returns to melt your frost. |

down a myriad winding ways have i followed this feeling,
seeking those simple words that would hold me true,
lonely nights despairing that i was only dreaming,
sweet delight to discover i was dreaming always of you, |

Hey, Vanessa I liked this short and sweet. Dreaming frost off my windows, frost off my breast.. that line took me by surprise... how can u breathe frost off your breast? keep up your poems.

I read this once and then read it aloud. It is one of those poems that sounds heavenly to simply read it. The last sentence brought a wistful sigh. I wished it was longer!
