Days to Pass On

Verse One:
How many days had passed
Before I opened my eyes
How long would that trance last
If you wouldn't have been nice enough to lie

*Instrumental Break*

Chorus:
You don't love me
You love that I'm naive
Any word you say to me
You know I would believe
You never loved me
Only that I was easily deceived

Verse Two:
How many days did pass
Before I realized
How long did that trance last
Until I said good-bye

Chorus

*Instrumental Break*

Verse Three:
You stole that part of me
And now it's gone for good
The part that was naive
I never knew the truth

Chorus Two Times

Ending:
Only Temptation to survive the death
To pick up the pieces of what's left
(repeats until song fades)

A good write of feelings most have felt at some time or other. I like the chorus, particularly. With the right music and vocals, this has real possiblities. Good work!
