theres four of us tonight
weve got no ride home
we plaiyng by the road
and each of us is stoned
were coming from a party
had a bit too much to drink
but were not gonna drink and drive
were much too smart... i think
so weve all got our thumbs out
hoping someonell pick us up
james hes still drinking
from his paper cup
mike realises his wallet
is no longer there
it might be somewhere close
lets have a look we cheer
were coming round a corner
so i go and chack for cars
im standing in the middle of the road
the boys are searching in the grass
all of a sudden im dying
something hits me hard
its like a game of poker
and ive got the losing cards
the car didnt see me standing there
and i was being smart
i didnt wanna die tonight
so i didnt drive from the start
but my mind is clouded with alcohol
its like im not all there
im invincible coz im not driving
and i dont really care
the other guys just noticed
whats happened on the road
theres someone screaming 'What the *****!'
why was he on the road?!
my friends are getting scared
no one really knows what to do
where are they all going?yelling My god, ****** Matthew
theyre all going to hide
leaving the driver standing near
i didnt drink and drive
its crazy, its not fair
im all alone as i take my last breath
my body becomes still
im to young to ***** die
Alcohol kills

It's all there in my minds eye, was I there?
Your message is so powerful,hope the authorities are aware of this write, if not, they should be.
Should be used in their drink safe slogans.

| your words are true,,it does kill,,either way driving or walking it still kills,,if they would do it senveibility,,or at home to a mimiun,,it wouldnt be as bad,,,well written strong writting,,a friend in words,,spooky |
