Let it burn

As this relationship continues
and we move further and further apart
I don't know what's best for me to do
I'm just going to follow my heart

But my heart is giving me two options
I don't know which one to choose
But then when you really think about it
With either choice I'll lose

I'm focusing so hard that I'm
Continuously biting my lip
Do I stay with you and do what I can
to better this relationship?

Or do I let you go while no one is hurt
and try my best to move on
Know that your not here with me
Will make me feel alone

So I've come to a conclusion
I pray to God I'm not wrong
To let you go and to let it burn
Just like it says in the song

But thinking about the times we shared
Bring a smile to my face
The love we had was special to me
and it will never be replaced

So I thank you for being there for me
Don't think I no longer care
Because at times when I needed you the most
I looked, and you were there

So as you continue to live your life
And change the way that you feel
Just remember that fact will still remain
I LOVE YOU and ALWAYS WILL!!!
