Thoughts Before Bedtime

Two Sixteen
The room isnt clean
You listent to the music play
In the bed where you lay.

You think about your life,
"Will it ever be right?"

Two Twenty Two
What are you going to do?
Thoughts of her in your head,
while you should be sleeping instead.

You say youre over it all
But its times like these...
Back for her you fall.

Two Twenty Nine
Shes doing fine.
Sleeping peacefully in her bed,
No thoughts of you running through her head.

Two Thirty Eight
Another night youre up so late.
Youre eyes get heavy
To fall asleep you cant wait.

For its in your dreams
Where your life is perfect
Its these moments of sleep
that are yours to keep.

Hold them forever
And chase them,
As if they are real.

i really enjoyed this write. brought up memories. good stuff. i will look for more
