Vision of Love

Contributed by hauntedscorp on Wednesday, 20th July 2005 @ 12:14:21 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I can picture it all right before my eyes
the connection, commitment, no more goodbyes

Visions of love, lust, even a family is seen
it all seems so right, so peaceful and serene

Flickers of memories that have yet to take place
walking towards love at an unhurried pace

From ventures in Rome, to Mexico on the beach
it's right there before me, yet out of my reach

Who is this man that awakens my dreams?
Who will take my heart and lovingly redeem?

Sensual moments I can see and feel so well
your touch...caress...your love inside me swell

Laying in bed beside you, no more lonely nights
I can see it all so clearly, yet it's not within my sights

What up Chris? Nice writing you did here. I especially like how you emphasize the questions with italics. Keep up the good writing.

It will come when the time is right. Don't be impatient and try not to push the issue. We often get in the way of love by trying to rush it.

Scorp, you did a lovely job expressing this particular feeling that unfortunately so many people share or have had at some time in their lives. I feel ya, but don't worry when you least expect it, the love bug will creep up out of nowhere and bite ya for sure! :-) Good write.

Scorpi !!!!! If you find him ... ask him if he has a sister !!! LOL

There is a fabulous wistful melancholy mood that I am left with after reading this.

I too like the questions italicized ... I think it is ... Scorpalicious.

'Tis marvelous Scorp, just amazing what dreaming can do for a person. Without dreams there would be no hope for mankind, and for you either. I throughly fell into your dream, I felt everything you felt, and was delighted in doing so. Take it easy Scorp, it is said, and is so true. A butterfly will land on your shoulder if you are very quiet, and hold very still.
Warm love
consue

Well... I haven't been to Rome yet, but everything else falls into place. Seriously, the thing is to find a *flexible* and *capable of growth* relationship and two people who can put a lot of work into the relationship. Even then, it doesn't happen all at once. I like the way you drew the picture of your dreams. Blessings, J.

This touched the heart of an Irish WOP.
Beautifully written and it hits home.
You can be a nice person that is honorable and moral and one who achieves their goals but that won/'/t get you what you want or deserve.

Just being the opposite usually will.
Very sad and I may have stretched the context a bit but that is what is great about poetry, it is open to interpretation just like the bible.

Stunning write Scorp!
