i remember your eyes

Contributed by hardrocker15198916 on Wednesday, 20th July 2005 @ 10:33:55 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

i remember your eyes
so beautiful and pure
there was a time in my life
i thought you were my cure

i remember your smile
with the same grace as your feet
so soft in each step
but you stumbled to meet

i remember your voice
so vague but still angelic
but you are just a memory
a forgotten relic

all the things you had said to me
are gone with time
for there once was a time
i thought you were mine

but no more no more...

My favorite part was;

i remember your smile
with the same grace as your feet
so soft in each step
but you stumbled to meet

This poem flowed nicely. A beautiful write.

this reminded me of a person that was in my life...."all the things you had said to me
are gone with time" spoke very loudly to me, but hey, the whole poem did. it brought me back in time....

yes, i'm very fascinated with curiosity. everything i write has such a deep meaning inside of it. not many see it. most just see what lies on the surface. yes, my mind is a little phsycotic at times as you've seen...i rarely write about it though. we all seem to have that side to ourselves...even if some wish to deny it...the thoughts are still there....
