Errotica

Contributed by little_genna on Wednesday, 20th July 2005 @ 06:45:09 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

It’s been 5 days since I felt your touch...
It makes my body miss you so much
The way you move your fingers through my hair...
The way your eyes give such a loving stare
All the way to that sweet sensuous kiss...
Leaving me with feeling of being your princess
By the way you run your fingers down my spine with sweet caress
Always leaving me to guess,
Skipping a beat, missing a breath...
Kissing and caressing me, leaving me breathless
Moving with ecstasy, you take me to heaven and back...
You hold me, kiss me gently, and lay me on my back
And you make me quiver, like a deck of cards in a stack
You make me feel like we are our own love novel
Reading me with intention, your finger circles my navel
Making my body tingle, yearning for you to be closer
I feel your torso entwined with mine…
Feeling your soft skin is so divine
Convulsing with screams of ecstasy echoing in my mind
Feeling love of a different kind
Then you embrace my body and tease my mind…
Open my body to a new type of touch
And to think I try to resist you so much…

Oh, my, I started to read this first day I had been given access to your poems, without reading the authors note at the top. I got a few lines into it and thought, uhoh, to personal for me to read and backed out. I am not a prude, I have traveled the world and seen a great deal and done even more, just thought it was personal and I had no right to be looking in that paticular window. Then was told it is not autobiographical and so have just now gotten back to it. Of course being the person I am had to read it several times and you know what,,, it is pretty damned interesting and well done. Like much of your poetry I see something different every reading nearly. First reading, was,,,,,,,,,, it was what it was, viseral, gut reaction. 2nd got interested in the style and didn't think about content so much, just read for the rhythm of it and flow of it. Next time male-female, point-counter point leaped off the page with a lot of power. What I missed that day when I first looked at it was announced with signs 10 foot tall now,,, two voices, two different view of the same events, two different desires. The first urgent, wanting, the second softer, more romantic. dancing the same steps but to different music. And the amazing thing is that it works, it is very effective. That is what I think, that is what I feel when I read it. I liked it. bob
