Sitting near the lonely tree
I wonder what could really be
If dreams could actually come true
Just between me and you
What would happen if I had tried?
If I had never stood to the side
I have often looked at the sky so white and blue
And wondered what if dreams could come true?
Not the ones choking me on silent screams
Those are nightmares, not really dreams
But the others, I just can’t recall
The ones where I would never fall
Feeling the wind blowing in my hair
I could be different, though I wouldn’t dare
I wish I wasn’t like that statue of stone
Sitting here, all alone.

If only dreams came true. I like the way you've presented this to us. I, myself, am a dreamer. There is always hope that one day your dreams may come true. A great write and chin up. May your dreams come true.
*hugs*
