You're so excited when you see me walk through the door
You're my sweet little boy, I couldn't love you anymore.
You climb on my lap and give me a soft little kiss
It feels so good to know I'm genuinly missed.
I cook chicken nuggets, your favorite thing to eat
I play "tickle monster", and grab your itty, bitty feet.
I let you watch Blues Clues, on the big screen
I have so much fun with you, jumping on the trampoline.
But you're not gonna like what I'm about to say
Sorry sweetie, but it's that time of day.
I love you, it's time for your NAP
Be a good boy, mommy will rub your back.
Here's your stuffed kitty, and your blankey too
Don't start crying, this is what all little boys and girls do.
Have beautiful dreams, my sweet little boy
Awake or asleep you fill my heart with joy.
